The newest researchers who have joined our event

We are delighted to introduce the newest researchers who have joined our event: François Nel, PhD, and Kamila Rymajdo, PhD, two distinguished guests from the United Kingdom. Dr. François Nel is an Associate Professor in Media Innovation and Entrepreneurship at the University of Central Lancashire in Preston, UK. Dr. Rymajdo is a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Central Lancashire, focusing on News Futures 2035. Signe Ivask, PhD, from Estonia. Dr. Ivask serves as a lecturer and researcher in journalism sociology at the University of Tartu, with a recent emphasis on topics such as attacks against journalists, emotional management among journalists, and news sociology. Lastly, we have Heidi Hirsto, DSc(Econ). Dr. Hirsto is an Associate Professor at the University of Vaasa, School of Marketing and Communication, and a member of the Digital Economy Research Platform. Her research delves into the ways in which digital culture and spaces reorganize people’s capacity to wield social influence as economic citizens.
